POTUS and FLOTUS (Barack Obama and his First Lady, Michelle) attended the annual Easter Egg Roll in Washington DC on Monday (9 April) and Michelle took the opportunity to bust out some bright basics from her White House wardrobe.

Embracing the power of the primary (the colours, not the presidential election process), Michelle opted for blue bottoms, a red tee and a yellow cardie. Daughter Sasha, in a neat piece of fashion symbolism*, went for secondary colours in most of her Easter outfit.
*Because, y'know, you make secondary colours from primary ones and Michelle made Sasha. Is anyone at all on board with this analogy?
