We need your help, readers. Here's a truly godawful homemade single called Hot Problems by amateur girl group Double Take - but is it real or just a massive prank?
It's a question that needs asking because it really is that bad. Whereas Rebecca Black's Friday had some sort of... something - it's hard to think of quite the right word - that made you realise she wasn't taking the mick, this one seems slightly askew.
First of all, it's truly horrific, with lyrics like "Hot girls have problems too, we're just like you, except we're hot" delivered as if they were blasted out of a broken vacuum cleaner, and secondly, the YouTube channel that hosts it looks a little suspicious in of itself.
Just take a look at OldBaileyProductions's page. This is it's only video, and the bio reads as: "Film student at CSUN. Worked in the industry on several major films, student projects, and payed projects."
Now this could all be real, we're not sure. Perhaps the video's description - "Old Bailey Productions did not create any of the audio or lyrics for this video. We produced the video as a favor for a younger sibling of one of our friends" - tells no lies.
But truly, truly, truly, we can't help but hope it's fake. For the sake of humanity and the sake of our ears, we pray it's fake.
And just so you can realise what a musical genius Rebecca Black has turned out to be, here's Friday, once more with feeling - and after that, a handy poll for you to vote in.
