The Saturdays To Star In New US Reality TV Show

Where Are The Saturdays Jetting Off To?

The Saturdays have landed a US reality show deal to aid their bid to break into the American music charts.

The pop act, who have released four hit albums since starting out in 2008, is determined to follow in the footsteps of One Direction and The Wanted and carve out a huge American fanbase.

They have signed a deal with the E! network to star in their own reality series, which will show the five singers on the road, in the recording studio, and at home.

The group - Mollie King, Frankie Sandford, Vanessa White, Rochelle Wiseman and new mum Una Healy - will soon relocate to Los Angeles to film the series.

The girls flew out to California earlier this year to meet with executives about the show. But Rochelle remained coy when grilled about their plans, telling Digital Spy the show was still "an idea" in the works.

She explained: "There has been so much press flying around for weeks.

"It was literally us five girls thinking, 'We've done a reality show here - how fun would it be to do one Stateside?' And that's not necessarily us cracking America. Maybe it would be about us taking our material to a different environment.

"We literally had it down as an idea and then all of a sudden the press are saying we've got a channel that it's on. It was an idea, but all the confirmed stuff is untrue."
