Rihanna And Coldplay Release Music Video Tease For Princess Of China Single

Rihanna and Coldplay have revealed a music video to accompany their duet Princess of China.

The tour edition music video features RiRi against brightly coloured sets, dancing with multiple hands fanning out behind her.

It has given an exciting taste of what’s to come when the official video is released next month.

Princess of China features on Coldplay’s fifth studio album Mylo Xyloyo.

Speaking with MTV recently, Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin spoke fondly of the single:

"And I think at this point, we have nothing to lose, and so we've been trying some new things and trying to break down the perceived boundaries between different types of music."

The single drew mixed reviews from music critics on its release.

Despite calling it “rather over-stuffed with Oh-oh-oh bits and La la la bits”, NME gave it an impressive 8/10.

Princess Of China is a pretty smart case study in how a giant rock band and a blockbuster pop star can join forces without totally embarrassing each other,” they continued.

Let’s hope the full music video doesn’t embarrass anyone either.
