WHO?Duchess Kate a run for her money in the style stakes last night, arriving at the charity event in a striking purple gown with thigh-high split, cinched in at the waist with a contrasting green sash belt. Nude heels, a black patent clutch and elegant chignon provided the finishing touches.

STYLE VERDICT: While we love the gown (could well be the best we've ever seen Zara look), we just wish she'd ditched that tacky looking black clutch in favour of something more chic and sparkly. Other than that, a grand effort. Oh, and Mike scrubs up pretty well too!
