Ajax's last Champions League triumph came against AC Milan 17 years ago, but more memorable than the all-but-two homegrown lineup or Patrick Kluivert's winner is the team's celebrations.
Upon returning to Amsterdam, the squad, featuring young exciting talent like Kluivert, Clarence Seedorf, the De Boer twins, Edgar Davids and Marc Overmars, took to the stage for a little (drunken?) song-and-dance in front of thousands of fans.
Dutch band Gompie's "Alice, Who the F**k is Alice?" got an unimaginative yet hilarious rejig, with "Alice" replaced with "Bayern" and "Milan".
The Dutch giants defeated Bayern Munich in the semi-finals and AC in the Vienna final.
And just in case you want to, here is de Godenzonen's fourth European Cup triumph at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion.
