Kylie Minogue swapped her gold hotpants for a stunning gold, floor-length gown on the red carpet in Cannes last night.
The pop princess was joined by her co-stars at the screening of her forthcoming film, Holy Motors. Kylie plays Eva in the French sci-fi fantasy, which critics have described as "bonkers". It is one of 22 films up for the prestigious Palme d'Or prize.
Kylie - who turns 44 next week - has opened up about the lasting effect her battle with cancer has had on her after being diagnosed with the disease in 2005.
Since being given the all-clear the singer told Paris Match magazine she 'feels like a cat with several lives'.
“There are days when I feel an incredible anger, others when I say that I was very lucky in my misfortune.
“I always try to present an optimistic picture. At first, I look very open, but basically, I'm pretty reserved. I knew I was strong, I was fortunate to be surrounded by people who really loved me.
“I feel like a cat, having had several lives. In my career as in my personal life, I made enough bad decisions to land me in deep water. Finally, I haven’t got out too badly.”
Kylie - who is currently celebrating 25 years in the music business - will unveil a brand new single, Time Bomb, online tomorrow ahead of her appearance on the semi-final of The Voice this weekend.
