The Appeal Court heard how an Oxford graduate suffered head and neck injuries during "staged falls" on a mountaineering expedition with Sir Ranulph in South America.

Natalie Harrison was taking part in two "stunts" which were "instigated" by Sir Ranulph because he "wanted to secure some exciting footage for the cameraman" during a trip to the Cotopaxi region of Ecuador in October 2004, the court heard.
