England's poor penalties courtesy of Ashleys Young and Cole may have suggested they didn't go down fighting against Italy, but one fan's shorts went down fighting in the Euro 2012 quarter-final.
As Alessandro Diamanti stepped up to take the penalty which would send the Azzurri into the semi-finals, one England fan behind the goal showed some balls (literally) in a bid to distract him.
Nevertheless the former West Ham United forward sent Joe Hart the wrong way to coolly win the match for Italy, while the ballsy fan was left to pull his shorts back up.
