There's many a dangerous job in the world. Bomb disposal expert is definitely up there. Skyscraper window cleaner? Whoah! Scary. Naomi Campbell's PA? Brrrr. But they all pale into comparison to being a celeb. Just ask Paris Hilton.
The poor lamb proved just how dicey things can get in celebville yesterday when she was caught up in a frightfully ugly paparazzi scrum. Or was she?
The heiress was leaving David Arquette's new Hollywood club Bootsy Bellows with a group of mates when they got into a struggle with a pap.
Paris - as our pictures show - ended up against the wall and then on the floor during the scrum.
Well that's one side of the story anyway.
The pap, however, has a slightly different version of events - he reckons Paris and her friends attacked HIM.
Billy Barrera told Radaronline.com: "It was 3:30 in the morning, the party was over and I was just walking through the parking lot to go to the bathroom when I see Paris, so I turned on my camera.
"I wasn't expecting to get jumped! I've shot Paris a lot and am always nice to her."
And Billy is convinced Paris thought he'd caught something on camera that she didn't want to go public (we'll let you come to your own conclusions on that one).
"Her friends all started attacking me and no one could see us until we got up to that next level, and that's when I yelled for help and the other paps came running and shot some video."
