One Direction's Liam Payne has returned home from a romantic break in Venice with girlfriend Danielle Peaze but didn't quite get the welcome he expected.
After spending some alone time with his lady, the star's home was ambushed on Monday night with fans knocking on his door and pushing notes through the letter box.

It's no wonder the boybander is on the hunt for a new pad. Maybe he hopes to keep his whereabouts a secret to avoid any other close encounters.

The 18-year-old has reportedly already checked out a £1.5m property in London and after last night's events he took to Twitter to urge fans to respect his privacy.
"Hi i just wanna say i love you guys and all bt having strangers knock on my door and notes pushed through at 11pm can be a little bit scary," he tweeted.
"I know you guys would feel the same about people knocking on your door you don't know so please don't come to my address much love liamxx"
