Tulisa Contostavlos 'Facing £100,000 Legal Bill Over Sex Tape Battle'

Tulisa's £100K Bill

Tulisa Contostavlos' sex tape court fight looks set to cost the pop star big - she is reportedly facing legal bills of more than £100,000.

The N-Dubz star was blindsided in March when footage of her performing a sex act on her former lover Justin Edwards circulated on the internet.

She took legal action to prove she had not released the clip herself, and earlier this month her ex admitted at London's High Court that he was behind the leak.

Tulisa refused to let the matter drop and sued music manager Chris Herbert, famed for creating the Spice Girls, over allegations he was involved in leaking the tape.

In court documents, she accused Herbert of being "aware of, involved in and consulted (about)" an online scheme to sell the footage. He was subsequently fired as a consultant on the upcoming season of The X Factor, the show which counts the singer as a judge.

But Tulisa is facing a massive bill over the ongoing saga - The Sun reports her costs look set to soar past £100,000.

Tulisa outside court

"Then she wanted to make an example of her ex-boyfriend who admitted in court he leaked it. It's cost her a bomb so far - and she's still not finished.

"Even if she wins financial compensation it's unlikely she'll ever see any of it and she'll end up paying for the case herself. Financially she'll have lost, but she might see it as a moral victory.

"Ironically, if Chris had been able to keep his job at The X Factor he would have had no problem paying up if Tulisa proves his involvement. But now he's been booted off the show, that's in question."
