Macaulay Culkin's Rep Denies Story He Is Addicted To Heroin, Calling It 'Ridiculously Fictitious'

'Ridiculously Fictitious'

A spokeswoman for the actor Macaulay Culkin has fired back at a tabloid report that the former child star is addicted to heroin and only has six months to live.

A spokeswoman for the actor said the claims made by the National Enquirerwere "categorically without merit" and "ridiculously fictitious".

The story - which claimed the 31-year-old Home Alone star had a $6000 a month drug habit - featured on the front page of the US tabloid under the headline 'Six Months To Live'.

"We beseech the responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive and insulting story by pursuing it any further."

The actor shot to fame playing Kevin McCallister in the 1990 film Home Alone. He also starred in Uncle Buck and My Girl but the roles dried up as he got older.

Macaulay and ex-girlfriend Mila Kunis, who is now dating Ashton Kutcher

He split from his long-term girlfriend Mila Kunis 18 months ago and currently earns a living as a DJ in New York.
