Singer Lily Allen announced on Thursday she is changing her professional name to Lily Rose Cooper.
The 27-year-old - who rose to fame through social networking site MySpace in 2005 - married property developer Sam Cooper in June 2011.
The Smile singer - who is mother to 20-month-old daughter Ethel and is currently expecting her second child - had previously said she was retiring from music and had no plans to make another album after the release of her second, It's Not Me, It's You, in 2009.
But she revealed on Twitter in June she had returned to the recording studio to work on new tracks.
She has now booked further studio time to develop these songs and to work on more new material.
No release date has been set but anything she releases in future will appear under her married name of Lily Rose Cooper.
She said: "It's great to work at my own pace, with no commitments other than to make music. I'm excited to be heading back into the studio."
