Jim Carrey is apparently back on board for the Dumb And Dumber sequel.
The actor had dropped out of the planned follow-up to the 1994 comedy, to be titled Dumb And Dumber To, leaving the film's future uncertain.
But now Jim's co-star Jeff Daniels has reportedly suggested that the movie looks set to go ahead, reported Hollywood.com.
Jim Carrey could do the Dumb And Dumber sequel after all
He said: "We almost were able to kinda get it done this year, but they're still working on the script. Jim wants to do it, I want to do it, the Farrellys want to do it... We're all hoping that it'll come together early next year."
Peter Farrelly and his brother Bobby had planned to start shooting the sequel about dopey friends Harry and Lloyd later this year.
However, Jim pulled out in June, apparently due to differences with the studio.
He released a statement at the time, saying: "I would have thought Dumb And Dumber To was a no-brainer, after all it's implied in the title."
