Shaun Ryder has celebrated his 50th birthday on stage this week during his reunion tour with the Happy Mondays.
For Shaun Ryder, there's only one way to celebrate turning 50...
The singer performed with his band at the Ibiza Rocks concert in Spain on Wednesday night, and the gig went on until the early hours of Thursday morning, so he reached the milestone age at midnight in front of fans.
The Happy Mondays reformed earlier this year to kick-off a comeback tour in May. They originally split in 1993.
Ryder hasn't been un-busy in between times, lending his voice to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in 2004, and playing a cameo role in Channel 4 drama Shameless.
He made an unlikely friendship with Stacey Solomon in the jungle
Ryder also made his name as the runner-up of the tenth series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! behind Stacey Solomon.
He published his autobiography last year, Twisting My Melon, which has been requisitioned by Granada Television to be adapted into a drama.
