The CBB house appeared to be getting over its shenanigans with the boys and girls... Rhian upset that she couldn't just be friends with the boys, Danica complaining that The Situation wouldn't seem to accept her friendship, shortly before appearing before him in the shower and checking he could/couldn't see her... so business as usual then.
Jasmine Lennard's mother Marilyn set to business, trying to dupe the housemates
But it was the calm before the storm, as CBB had a surprise for its housemates, with the secret return of Jasmine Lennard, and her mother in tow.
Today's Questions:
- Will Rhian and Ashley be speaking again by the time one of them is evicted?
- Can Danica seriously expect The Situation not to get the wrong idea?
- How many cigarettes is Julian going to get through by the time he leaves the house?
Jasmine's mother Marilyn, a former Bond girl, was no retiring chicken, and had great fun impersonating a psychic Shelley, with the help of Jasmine in her earpiece feeding her information about each of her subjects.
The housemates were bemused by the sudden arrival - "it's probably Julian in drag" was Julie's guess... "Is she a transvestite?" asked Harvey... "I guess she's here to cause trouble," decided Julian...
Marilyn was actually there to give psychic readings, and if she succeeded in persuading them she was Mystic Meg, she would have the power to grant immunity to two housemates.
Her first target - Samantha, whom she told there was a sheepdog near her. Samantha was moved, thinking it must be her pet, whom she lost a couple of years ago.
More tears from Danica
"I didn't know the dog was dead, this is like Danica all over again," smirked the omniscient Jasmine - a singularly tasteless reminder of the time she had previously berated Danica, without knowing her mother had passed away.
Marilyn nearly gave herself away, telling Prince Lorenzo what she thought of Danica in no uncertain terms. Meanwhile, Danica exercised her right NOT to have a psychic reading, but it didn't stop the tears falling when she found out how she'd been described.
By the end of the day, Marilyn failed to convince enough housemates of her psychic powers for Jasmine to succeed in her task.
Some people had been right all along, with Julie heard saying early in the day, "If she's psychic, I'm Mother Teresa."
