Rihanna is to light up the stage as one of the performers at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, it has been announced.
The Talk That Talk singer, who has been nominated for five awards, is expected to give an electrifying performance at the star-studded ceremony, which takes place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on September 6.
She joins a line-up which already includes Frank Ocean, Taylor Swift, Green Day, Alicia Keys, Pink and British boyband One Direction.
The Wanted, Andy Samberg, Rashida Jones and Ke$ha have been added to the list of celebrity presenters which includes Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller and the US Women's Olympics gymnastics team - Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Alexandra Raisman, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber - that won the team gold medal at the 2012 Olympic Games.
Comedian Kevin Hart will host the ceremony, which sees former flames Drake and Rihanna leading the nominations with five nods each.
Katy Perry trails behind with four nominations, Justin Bieber is up for two awards and so are One Direction.
