Aaron Sorkin's 'The Newsroom': All The Shouting In One Supercut (VIDEO)

WATCH: All The Shouting In 'The Newsroom'

Of all the things that are wrong with the Aaron Sorkin drama The Newsroom - and we'd argue that there are at least 10 of them - the one that clearly sticks out for YouTube user SlackTory is just how much the characters shout at each other. Consistently. Continually. Honestly, watch this supercut and you'll think it's the most stressful, aggressive, and certainly most open-plan workplace ever portrayed on television.

Sometimes The Newsroom characters really shout (see Jeff Daniels' news anchor Will McAvoy); sometimes they try to shout (see Emily Mortimer's news producer Mackenzie MacHale); and sometimes they shout at each other (see both of the above, and many more).

In fact, while the supercut is exceptionally comprehensive, it sadly doesn't include any footage of viewers shouting at the screen in frustration at Sorkin's work - although this is, to be fair, a side-effect of The Newsroom rather than a feature of it.

(Warning: it contains quite a lot of swearing. Mainly because people are, you know, shouting.)

'How to shout an Aaron Sorkin line' is, of course, just the second lesson in Sorkinese - the first being 'How to walk and talk at the same time'. For a full seminar, watch this video of 'Sorkinisms'...
