MTV VMAs 2012: The Brits Invade As The Wanted, The Saturdays, Rita Ora And Emma Watson Join One Direction At Ceremony (PICS)

Brits Invade The VMAs!

The Brits certainly invaded at the MTV Video Music Awards last night.

Not only did our One Direction boys bring home three awards, they were also joined by some of our other fave UK talents at the star-studded bash.

The Wanted looked polished as they turned up to see if they'd won the award for Best New Artist.

However, they had to settle for being the second best British boyband as they lost out to their rivals 1D.

Max George won't have minded too much though as he was celebrating his 24th birthday. Wonder how that head is this morning...?

The Saturdays also made their US red carpet debut as they continued their offensive to crack the States.

And the girls proved they were a bit of all white (thank you, we're here all week) as they rocked the red carpet in bridal style dresses.

Rita Ora also showed up to see what all the fuss was about, showing off her curves in a daring jewel encrusted jumpsuit.

We're sure with the support of Beyonce and Jay-Z behind her, not to mention three UK number one singles and a number one album, it won't be too long before Rita is following in One Direction's footsteps and picking up a few of her own moonman trophies.

Emma Watson also joined in the fun as she turned up to the bash held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with Being a Wallflower co-star Ezra Miller.

The former Harry Potter star looked gorgeous in an edgy Peter Pilotto dress paired with Tom Ford shoes.

Pah! Who need those Americans, eh?
