Silverstone may already have hosted the Formula One Grand Prix this year, but it held an even bigger event at the weekend when over £100m worth of Ferraris turned up for a supercar parade to smash a world record.

The 964-strong fleet, boasting car buffs from all across Europe, beat the 2008 record of 490 set in Japan by almost double at the Northamptonshire race track.
Ferrari's F1 driver Felipe Massa was even behind the wheel of a black Ferrari 458 Spider during the mass celebration of the famed Italian carmaker.

Included amongst the convoy were several million-pound Ferrari Enzos and the iconic Ferrari F40, worth around £400,000.
