Alexander Büttner was named man of the match after he scored a goal on his Manchester United debut, but the Dutchman's celebrations with Japanese attacker Shinji Kagawa appeared to be lost in translation.

Although Kagawa speaks hardly any English in comparison to Büttner, who spoke intelligibly in his post-match interview, it is tough to blame a language barrier for their decision to 'flip the bird' rather than opt for the thumbs up.
Kagawa was an unused substitute during United's third win of the season, as Paul Scholes, Javier Hernández and Nick Powell contributed to the 4-0 scoreline.
