Yohan 'The Beast' Blake is following in the footsteps of fellow London 2012 Olympic icon Usain Bolt by dabbling in other sports, and a foray into cricket saw the Jamaican damage a car.
Double-Olympic silver medallist and 4x100metre sprint relay winner Yohan Blake has made no secret cricket is his favourite sport, and last week he helped Bartley's XI to a 36-run win over the Correctional Services in the St. Catherine Twenty20 cricket league here at the Prison Oval in his native Jamaica.
Blake, batting at five, went on the attack in the last three overs after a tentative start, as he hit a six which damaged the back glass of a car parked outside the small ground.
Compelled to inspect the damage, Blake was greeted with a hand shake by the owner, who told him "it's part of cricket".
The Beast went on to make 20 off 21 balls before falling to the last ball of the innings when he was stumped.
