Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has warned his squad Tuesday's Champions League fixture at home to Ajax is their "last chance" in the competition.
City have lost two and drawn one of their opening three matches in Europe, leaving them with the possibility of taking a maximum of 10 points - the same amount they accumulated when eliminated at the group stage last year.
Despite the importance of the Ajax game, Mancini was again questioned about his future after it was revealed last week he held talks with Ligue 2 side AS Monaco towards the end of last season.
The Italian was irked by the attention being drawn onto himself rather than tomorrow night's encounter.

"I don't understand why you continue to ask me (about) last year, last month. This is finished," said Mancini. "Why? Why, for which reason? Why do you continue to ask me, 'Last year you had a chance to go'?"
He added: "I stay here because my work is here. I worked for two years. I built with the chairman and the owner, this team. We won three trophies in two years. For 50 years we didn't win. Never."

Continuing his outburst, Mancini, who banged the table with his hand, said: "You need to have respect for the people sometimes. I don't understand why you continue to ask me this. Why?
