'X Factor' star Christopher Maloney is reportedly getting double the votes of any other contestant in the competition.
The former call centre operator from Liverpool is the last remaining act in Gary Barlow's 'Overs' category and, if the votes are anything to go by, looks like he has the potential to win the show.

The Sun reports a show source revealing: "They’re determined to get him kicked off the show. It’s crazy. The show is in a spin and Cowell is really panicking. They will be trying anything now to get people to not like this guy.”
Maloney and his Eighties power ballad performances are reportedly not cool enough for Cowell's liking.
The Mirror recently reported that Maloney admits that he does vote for himself, saying, "I have voted for myself a few times. So has everyone else - I doubt my calls have made much of a difference... if I had more credit on my phone, I'd vote more."

The 34-year-old singer, who previously sang on cruise ships, has confessed that he still feels like he has to earn his place on the ITV show, as he wasn’t one of the original final twelve singers to win a place on the live shows, but was added later as a wildcard contestant.
Meanwhile, boyband sensation One Direction will appear on this weekend's show with a pre-recorded performance of their new single 'Little Things'. Little Mix and Ed Sheeran will also perform, but they will be live in the ITV studio.
