England are suitable opponents to open Sweden's Friends Arena in Stockholm having played against them in four major tournaments over the past 20 years.

Last year the Three Lions finally ended a hoodoo which had lasted since 1968 against the Swedes when Fabio Capello's side beat the Scandinavians at Wembley in November last year - not so much a monkey off their back but the Planet of the Apes.
