I'M A CELEBRITY: Helen Flanagan's Despair Turns To Delight After She Wins 12 Stars In Bushtucker Trial

I'M A CELEBRITY: Helen Wins A Whopping 12 Stars In Bushtucker Trial

"Who are you and what have you done with Helen Flanagan?" asked 'I'm A Celebrity' host Ant McPartlin after the most squeamish of this year's contestants finally did the unthinkable... found a new bikini?... went without her mascara? No, more surprising than that.

The former Corrie star conquered her fears in the jungle and completed a bushtucker trial in its entirety without a murmur of protest, just a few shrieks along the way.

After five failed attempts at previous trials, Helen managed to attain a whopping 12 stars in the Deadly Delivery trial, sticking her head into various perspex boxes to move the stars along a maze, with only a few carpet pythons, maggots and 10,000 cockroaches for company.

There was definitely a different attitude coming from Helen this time around, no doubt forged by her campmates' hunger, as well as their clearly evident growing impatience with her.

After succeeding in the trial, Helen burst into tears and said she had "never been so happy".

"I've never been so proud of myself ever. I feel on cloud nine," she said. "It's so stupid. Honestly I can't tell you how scared I was and just feel really proud of myself and I felt really proud and happy."

Helen couldn't wait to share her glee with her campmates, who were suitably impressed. And for the first time since Helen became the officially anointed trial taker, they could rub their tummies in anticipation.

Who do you think has it in them to win this year's jungle content? Share your thoughts below...
