Coronation Street actress Katy Cavanagh, 38, has announced she is expecting her third baby with her husband Chris Jupe.
The couple already have an eight-year-old son Noah and five-year-old daughter Jemma.
The happy news is in stark contrast to her character Julie Carp's recent storylines - and Katy's baby bump could leave her Corrie bosses struggling to hide her expanding waistline!
In the soap, Julie was told she would never have children after being forced to have her ovaries removed after her 'pregnancy' turned out to be a huge cyst.
The Mirror reports that Katy's bosses are thrilled about her pregnancy - but confessed it DOES cause a scripting problem!
"Everyone is over the moon for Julie [sic] and it is great that she is expecting another child but it causes a problem when it comes to filming," the source said, "Having made the decision to make her infertile there's no way we can write a storyline saying she is now pregnant."
"We will have to make sure her bump is covered in every scene. That won't be too tricky early on as we can just put her in heavy coats and winter clothing, but in the latter stages, it will be problematic," the source continued.
Aw, such lovely news - and it's always fun to watch a real-life pregnancy being 'disguised' on screen (enormous bags, strategically placed tables!).
