'X Factor': Nicole Scherzinger To Quit In Order To Reboot Pop Career?

Nicole To Quit?

Nicole Scherzinger has sparked speculation she's set to quit 'The X Factor' after declaring she'd want to leave the show "on a high" - just days before two of her acts take part in the final.

The former Pussycat Dolls star has taken her boys James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas in to the last round of the series, and they're set to sing for victory on Saturday's show.

They'll go up against Gary Barlow's act Christopher Maloney - and Nicole insists riding high into the final would be the perfect time to quit the judges' panel.

The singer wants to get back to her musical roots and is keen to head back out on tour.

Nicole adds: "This year has changed my life. As an artist, it's put into perspective what I want, how to go about it. People have made me so comfortable and I have to thank you."

However, asked if she was holding out for a big pay rise, she joked: "That's what I'm talking about!"

The star has accompanied her lads to their hometowns this week, and on Wednesday she sang with Jahmene at the Christian's local church in Swindon.

However, that audience will seem like small fry compared to this weekend's finale at Manchester Central.

Kylie Minogue, Kelly Clarkson and Rita Ora will perform on Saturday's show, while Rihanna, One Direction and Emeli Sande are set to appear on Sunday.

May the best man win!
