Brit Awards 2013 Nominations: Emeli Sande Leads The List With Four Nominations

Emeli Sande has been nominated for four Brit awards.

The singer's spectacular 2012 looks set to be repeated after being nominated for best female, best album, and with two songs in the best single category.

Rita Ora has three nominations, and Paloma Faith, Plan B, Jessie Ware and Muse are also all up for two gongs.

Amy Winehouse, who died in 2011, has received a posthumous nomination for best female.

Sande said it was "really good feeling" to be nominated for so many awards.

"It feels great, a bit scary, because you never know, you might not win anything.

"It feels great to have this acknowledgement and recognition. And to come back here after winning the Critics' Choice and to be nominated is really, really cool."
