It was supposed to be all about the Brits being the British Academy Film Awards and all, but some of Hollywood's leading ladies certainly brought the glamour to Sunday night's BAFTAs.

Jennifer Lawrence, fresh from her dress mishap at the SAG Awards last month, was forced to cover her strapless white gown with a blazer as the British elements did their best to dampen the occasion.

She jetted in from the US to find out if she had bagged the award for Best Leading Actress for her role in 'Silver Linings Playbook'.
Also direct from Hollywood was Jessica Chastain, who sashayed her way down the red carpet in a dazzling blue number.
