Steven Gerrard was in attendance at Anfield on Thursday night to see the latest crop of Liverpool youngsters progress to the Youth Cup quarter-finals, after a 3-1 win against Leeds.
Jordon Ibe hit a first-half brace and a late Jack Dunn tap-in set up a clash with Hull City in the last eight of the competition.

Liverpool have won the Youth Cup three times in their history, with Carragher and Owen part of the first triumphant squad in 1996.
The club's youngsters also won back-to-back Youth Cups in 2006 and 2007, with Jay Spearing captaining the winners in their most recent success.
