Chantelle Houghton Spends Mother's Day In Hospital After Mistaking Flu For A Stroke

Chantelle Houghton has revealed how she was taken to hospital after believing she had suffered a stroke.

The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' winner - mum to eight-month-old Dolly - told her Twitter followers of how she spent her first Mother's Day in A&E.

Luckily though, her illness was much less sinister, and she found out she was just suffering from a bought of the flu.

She tweeted: "Thank you to Broomfield hospital Chelmsford for looking after me yesterday docs thought I'd had a stroke but thankfully just flu. Gutted I spent my first mothers day in a&e but going to have mine when I'm better! X."

Chantelle spent last week locked in a public war of words with her ex-fiancé Alex Reid, over access to their daughter.
