It seems Rihanna really started something when she started taking the tube around London.

Now it seems like every Tom, Dick and Harry in celebville is determined to prove they're sooo down to earth by ditching their chauffeur driven cars and travelling with us plebs.

Geri Halliwell has become the latest star to do just thatone, tweeting a snap of herself riding the Underground reading the Financial Times (pffft, you're kidding no-one, love).

"Forgive me for being a brat: after 17 years & yesterday's 2 hrs of traffic-lets save time & money-the tube!," she tweeted.

Posting more snaps of her on the platform and coming out the exit, she wrote: "Loved it!!i'm a Londoner! I'm liberated!!"
