David Moyes drove into Manchester United's Carrington training ground for the first time on Monday but his new supporters have already serenaded Sir Alex Ferguson's successor to the sound of Slade.
"Cum On Feel The Noize", Slade's 1973 number two hit, was the inspired tune United fans adopted at West Brom on Saturday as the Red Army of the 70s threatened a vibrant comeback.
"Come on David Moyes, play like Fergie's boys. We'll go wild wild wild" was bellowed in the first 45 while Moyes was still coaching his Everton players at Chelsea.
Boasting a songbook unrivalled by any other set of supporters in the country, even the team's carelessness in throwing away a 5-2 lead to draw 5-5 could not besmirch a party atmosphere in the away end.
Ferguson's replacement has already been mobbed by United fans at a Cambridge Union address and in Manchester, as Reds begin to enjoy their status as champions of England again.
