Alex, he of the valleys – above his eyelids - finally gets his chance to prove his leadership stripes in tonight’s episode of 'The Apprentice', when Lord Sugar shows his TV smarts by making the Welshman the project manager of Endeavour.
Following the deal-breaking abdication by Jason last week, the candidates number seven. Evolve are left to sort their own leader, from the alpha trio of Neil, Luisa and Francesca.
Alex finally gets his chance
This week’s setting – the striking environs of the Gherkin in central London. The task – to create and market a ready meal.
Luisa immediately makes it quite clear she has no wish to be in the kitchen, despite running a food business... strange. Which leaves it to Francesca to cook up a storm, and she’s not impressed.
Too many cooks in the kitchen?
Meanwhile, Alex is having fun delegating like a good ‘un, with Myles left to come up with some branding ideas. The first one… Dracula’s Dinners. How DID that come to mind?
The Apprentice is on BBC1 at 9pm tonight.
Who do YOU think will be this year’s winning Apprentice?
