'The Only Way Is Essex' star Mario Falcone has taken to Twitter to defend himself for cheating on his ex, Lucy Mecklenburgh.
The reality star has been the target of abuse on the social networking site ever since it emerged he'd been unfaithful to his former 'TOWIE' girlfriend.

One 'TOWIE' fan asked: "I don't get why @Mario_Falcone would even consider cheating on Lucy, she's perfect."
To which Mario replied: "Steak at home but love a mixed grill x"
Nice.
He then told his 1million followers that they needed to lighten up and put things into perspective.
"Some people are so serious on here," he tweeted. "Have some fun! I cheated and made my mistakes, I didn't murder someone!"
No, you didn't Mario, but cheating still isn't very nice, is it?
