'EastEnders' Spoiler: Andy Murray's Wimbledon Win Celebrated On The Square

'EastEnders' Celebrate Murray's Wimbledon Win

'EastEnders' chiefs are to film a special scene to incorporate Andy Murray's Wimbledon win.

Programme makers will put together the scene on Tuesday morning to slot into tonight's edition of the the show.

Kim Fox, played by Tameka Empson, will discuss whether to rename her Walford bed and breakfast "Wimbledon Palace", in tribute to Murray's victory.

She previously capitalised on the UK's sporting interest when she changed the name to Kim's Olympic Palace, but was warned it was an infringement of copyright.

The BBC1 show has previously included other topical inserts for notable World Cup matches and even the death of Michael Jackson in 2009.
