As well as being awarded the accolade for best actress at Sunday night's Bafta TV Awards, Sheridan Smith also scooped the prize for most surprised winner as she fought back the tears all evening.
The actress, fondly remembered at MyDaily HQ for playing Janet in Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps, was stunning in cool multi-hemmed mini as she hit the ceremony at London's Royal Festival Hall.
Teaming her little black Azagury dress with mammoth suede heels, sparkly hooped earrings and a ma-hussive rock on her finger the actress looked like she'd stepped right out of a glamourous Hollywood flick.
Keeping her beauty classic, the blonde wore her tresses in a pretty undo showing off her flawless porcelain skin with a popping red lip.
Sheridan burst into tears when she was named best actress for her role in ITV's Mrs Biggs, struggling to compose herself during her acceptance speech, and asking, "Is this a wind up?"
Her disbelief continued through her sobs, as she muttered to herself, "Don't cry, you look like a knob," before letting the F word slip and then hiding her face behind the Bafta gong AND accidentally hitting herself in the nose in the process - ouch.
Ah well, if you're gonna breakdown in tears you might as well do it in a pretty dress.
