What? Elle kicked off Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model today in a love-it or hate-it outfit. She paired her velvet, one-shoulder top with cut-out trousers (transformed to flares), neon stilettos and her signature, beachy waves.

Where? Claridge's, London, 18 June

Verdict? On anyone else, this cut-out ensemble would look like it had been attacked with a pair of scissors. On Elle, anything looks good (still not sure we approve of the top though).
