New grandmother Kris Jenner hits the red carpet at the 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards just one day after daughter Kim Kardashian gave birth to her first child.
The 57-year-old looked super happy as she rolled up to the swanky event in Beverly Hills on Sunday night, before she launches her own talk show next month.
When asked to comment on the latest Kardashian birth Kris simply said, "She's in charge," pointing at her publicist who whisked her away from reporters.
New parents Kim and Kanye West had initially kept the baby's gender a secret, but the sex was revealed earlier this month during a doctor's appointment shown on the family's reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Secrecy has surrounded the birth, but in a recent interview with The New York Times, baby daddy Kanye said he didn't like talking about his family or the arrival of his child. "Like, this is my baby. This isn't America's baby," he said.
