It's been a while since we've seen safety pins used as a high fashion sartorial embellishment - can you think of anything more recent that Liz Hurley in that Versace dress?

Last night, however Kate Moss, brought the trend back when she stepped out in this LBD for friend and Radio 1 Dj Nick Grimshaw's birthday party at La Bodega Negra and The Groucho Club in London.

Kate's mate Sadie Frost was also in attendance, wearing a neon green printed mini dress...

...as was Tulisa Contostavlos, who opted for apricot, black and a deep, dark tan...

...and Jaime Winstone, who looked as though she'd arrived via the gym and a Burlesque show at The Box.
