When UCA Rochester rallied up the Graduate Fashion Week crowds, it was for very good reason. Students put style from eras gone by into a context of right here, right now. Yes, the textiles were traditional but the texture, detailing and all that accessorising was pure cutting edge.
We'll be keeping tabs on Lucja Sliwinska - and not just for the floral masks, the shape and silhouette of her line is well crafted and we're more-than ready to wear it. Another name to mention is Emma Star - the girl about the baby-doll dress and revised 60s style. The floral embellished leotard? LOVE.
