Katie and Mark Thomas said "I do" in St Mary's church in Doverdale, Worcestershire, before zooming off to a field next to the bride's parents' house for a proper countryside knees up.
The pretty vintage-esque wedding was stand out thanks to lots of individual touches such asking guests to elect a member of each table to serve food during the reception and a photo booth furnished with a trunk full of dress-up goodies.
While Katie wore a Jo Barnes headpiece, Rachel Simpson shoes and a timeless lace, floor-length gown from Scarlet Poppy Boutique in Pudsey, Leeds - "The owner Kate ensured my dress fitted like a glove", she said – Mark was dapper in a Paul Smith suit.
The bridesmaids slipped on dresses and wraps from Monsoon and all the girls' hair was styled by Eric Gloucester from Eric Jon and their make up applied by Portia Oliver from Bella's Beauty.
After the yummiest cake - which was made by Katie's mum and had a chocolate, fruit and lemon tier - everyone went for a spin on the dance floor and got seriously snap happy in the photo booth.
The best moment of the day? "Saying our vows and becoming husband and wife and also looking round the room and seeing everyone we care about all in one place," says Katie.
She advises fellow brides to enlist the help of friends and family, describing her big day as a "team effort".
She added: "Relax and enjoy every second of it, the planning all the way through to the big day. Speak to people who have got married recently for hints and tips."
