A Fijian soldier confused a crowd cheering The Queen when he suddenly sat down after speaking with her.
Many in the crowd believed the man had collapsed from heat exhaustion during the royal tour of Kendal, Cumbria.
Her Majesty was untroubled however as Sgt Rusiate Bolavucu, 32, explained: “It is a traditional and cultural thing for people from Fiji to do when they meet a head of state. It is a way of showing respect."
