Well, if the pair's new music video is anything to go by things are getting pretty steamy between the two. As if it wasn't weird enough they're doing an actual duet, the vid sees them smooching and rolling around and stuff. And it's made us feel all weird inside. Then we discovered they locked lips off camera too *lets out girlish scream*.
Mel told The Mirror, "I've never had a love interest in a video before so I was really nervous beforehand. I've always felt too self-conscious before, and never really had the confidence to do it.
"But because this song is really sexy, it felt relevant - we weren't just doing it for the sake of it." Got forbid! "And to be fair, it's not a hardship snogging Matt Cardle."
The Artist Formerly Known As Sporty had confessed her on-screen kiss virginity to Matt who was keen to make things as comfortable as possible for her. Bless.
"Matt and I were chatting and I told him I'd never done this before," she said. "He was like 'OK, that's cool', and then went off to get changed next door.
"Suddenly, I heard him shouting at me to come in. I thought 'Oh, shit, I've done something wrong'. Anyway, he turned to me and said, 'I'm not being funny but it's really weird kissing someone for the first time in front of people. So do you mind if we practice first?"
