The Oscar-winner revealed she would be thrilled to be cast as a baddie in a 007 movie, and would also like to tackle Russian leader Catherine II on the big screen.
Talking to Digital Spy about whether she would ever consider playing a female Doctor who, she said: "I so do not want to play Doctor Who, I really don't. I'd like to be a Bond villain.
"That's something I would really love to do and I'd also like to play Catherine the Great of Russia."
The 68-year-old actress had previously said it was time for a woman to play the Time Lord. However, it has now been revealed that Peter Capaldi will be taking over the Tardis when Matt Smith steps down as the current Doctor.
