Ikea, best known for it's cheap furniture and fantastic meatballs, has started selling solar panel systems in the UK.
Sales launched yesterday in the Southampton store, with all of its 17 British stores set to suit in the coming months.

A ‘standard’ 3.36 kilowatt system, including installation, will cost £5,700.
The world's biggest furniture retailer said the move follows a successful pilot project at its Lakeside store to the east of London, which sells one photovoltaic (PV) system almost every day.
Ikea said the panels save their owners hundreds of pounds a year on electricity costs, which - if the house gets enough sun - will easily repay the cost of purchase.
