There are no doubt all manner of weird ways in which a tweeting bra could be put to use but thankfully the first example we've seen is actually in aid of a very good cause.
Whenever Greek TV host Maria Bacodimou unclasps her bra it sends out a tweet reminding her followers to do their monthly breast self-exam.
It's all part of a campaign from Nestle Fitness for October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a novel way of utilising technology.
The specially designed clasp uses bluetooth to send a signal to Bacodimou's mobile which then notifies a server, which then generates a tweet.
Currently, if you want to get involved there's the small matter of a Greek-sized language barrier to overcome but hopefully it should not be long before more personalities get involved.
