Cristiano Ronaldo's sensational hat-trick gave Portugal a 3-2 win in Sweden as they qualified for the 2014 World Cup.

France overcame a 2-0 first leg deficit to join them with a monumental 3-0 victory over Ukraine, while Croatia and Greece overcame Iceland and Romania to book their tickets to Brazil.

Ghana and Algeria defeated Egypt and Bakina Faso in their playoffs, and there are now just two places left for next year's finals.
